counting down our picks for the funniest
of funny moments that have appeared on
British TV screens.

Mitchelland web look. For our first
entry, we have unironically the first
sketch scene in that Mitchell and web
look for David Mitchell and Robert Webb.

sometimes asserbic, other times
downright daft humor. It's a good
starting point, blending styles where
others settle for one. I really can't
think of anything worse as a symbol than
a skull. Number 19. Oh, Jane, come dine
with me. It's now the subject of memes,
gifts, and forum flames. Poor Peter
Marsh's melancholic rant is our game.
Coming in last during a 2016 episode of
Come Dine with Me, Peter also had the
responsibility of announcing the winner
in his living room.

solely responsible for everyone's
opinion is anyone's guess.

property. Number 18, Kitchen Gun. The
Peter Saraphinowitch Show.
>> Say goodbye to daily stains and dirty
surfaces with new Kitchen Gun.
>> The frankly underrated Peter
Saraphinowitch only got one series of
his self-titled sketch show. However, he
had some banging parodies. Literally,
when it comes to the kitchen gun and
toilet grenade sketches, you'd have to
have been living under a rock not to
have seen the arts that inspired
Saraphina Witch's sketches.
>> Look how it cleans this greasy hob.
Goodbye dirt.
>> But for our nonUK viewers, Silit Bang is
a cleaning product advertised by a very
hyperbolic loud man named Barry Scott.
Apparently the most dynamic name they
could come up with for actor Neil
Burgess. I love you, Kitchen Dun.
>> Put the two side by side and you'll
struggle to see a difference between
Burgess's Barry Scott and Sarah
Finitch's Derek Bomb.
>> You can even use it on the washing up
there. All clean again.
>> As parodies go, this is practically a
reflection. And yep, the adverts over
here really are like that. Number 17,
Smithy's Curry, Gavin and Stacy. Now,
say what you like about James Cordon
these days. In fairness, much of it is
deserved, but we have to give him and
coowwriter Ruth Jones all the credit in
the world for Gavin and Stacy. Walking
the fine line between comedy and drama.
They had some classic laugh out loud
moments for us to enjoy.
>> We're getting an Indian. What are you?
>> Chicken buna, lamb booner, prawn booner,
mushroom rice, bag of chips, kanana, and
nine papadoms.
>> I'm just going to stick it on the table,
you know.
>> Wa. Right. Okay. Smithy's curry order is
up there with the finest as Cordon's
character goes into a long rant to
justify his similarly long takeaway
order.
>> And in my book, a corner is pointless.
