First Conjugation Basics
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Georgian verbs change their endings based on the subject; for vowel-stem verbs, drop the final vowel and add the person-specific suffix.
- 1st person (I) adds -ვ: ვ-მღერი-ვ (I sing).
- 2nd person (You) adds -ხ: მღერი-ხ (You sing).
- 3rd person (He/She/It) adds -ს: მღერი-ს (He/She sings).
