Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

In Thai, time words like 'today' or 'Monday' usually go at the very beginning or the very end of your sentence.

  • Use 'wan' (day) before the specific day name, e.g., 'wan-jan' (Monday).
  • Place time markers at the start or end of the sentence for emphasis.
  • Do not use 'on' or 'at' prepositions; Thai uses direct placement.
