Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Adverbs of manner describe how an action is performed and usually look exactly like the neuter singular form of adjectives.
- Rule 1: Take the neuter singular adjective (ending in -o) to form the adverb. Example: 'бавен' -> 'бавно'.
- Rule 2: Place the adverb usually after the verb or at the end of the phrase. Example: 'Той тича бързо'.
- Rule 3: The word 'добре' (well) is the most common irregular adverb, coming from 'добър' (good).
