Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the Past Perfect to describe an action that happened before another action in the past.
- Use 'бях' + past active participle for the first action: 'Бях ял' (I had eaten).
- The second action is usually in the simple past (Aorist): 'Бях ял, преди да дойдеш'.
- It emphasizes the sequence of events clearly.
