Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Bulgarian is phonetic: you read exactly what you see, so match each letter to its sound to read any word.
- Each letter represents one primary sound: 'к' is always 'k', 'а' is always 'a'.
- Stress matters: the stressed vowel is longer and clearer, e.g., 'кОтка' (cat).
