Nasal vowels (ą, ę, į, ų) are long vowels; ignore the 'nasal' historical name and focus on holding the sound for twice as long.
- The tail (nosinė) means the vowel is long: 'ą' is a long 'a'.
- Do not add an 'n' sound; just stretch the vowel sound.
- These vowels often appear at the end of words to show grammar cases.
