Unreal Future Conditionals
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use this to talk about imaginary future situations that are unlikely to happen, like winning the lottery or meeting an alien.
- Add -sa/-sə to the verb in the 'if' clause: 'Əgər bilsəm...' (If I knew...)
- Use the aorist past (-ardı/-ərdi) in the result clause: '...deyərdim' (...I would tell)

Easily Confused
Learners use Type 1 (-sa + -acaq) for dreams, making them sound like certain plans.
