Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Gujarati, use 'Hu' for 'I' and 'Ame' for 'We' to start building your first sentences.
- Use 'Hu' (હું) to refer to yourself: 'Hu vidyarthi chu' (I am a student).
- Use 'Ame' (અમે) to refer to a group including yourself: 'Ame jaiye chie' (We are going).
- Pronouns in Gujarati do not change based on gender, making them very easy to learn!

Singular First Person
Refers to the speaker alone.
“હું ખુશ છું.”

Plural First Person (Exclusive)
Refers to a group including the speaker, but excluding the listener.
