Conditional Negation
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To express 'if not', combine the negative suffix (-ma/-me/-pa/-pe) with the conditional suffix (-sa/-se).
- Add negative suffix to the verb root: 'bar' (go) -> 'barma' (don't go).
- Add conditional suffix to the negative form: 'barmasa' (if [he/she] does not go).
- Ensure vowel harmony is maintained throughout the entire construction.
