¡Qué + adjective/adverb! is used to express how X something is. For example, '¡Qué bonito!' means 'How beautiful!'

¡Qué + noun! is used to express 'What a X!' For example, '¡Qué día!' means 'What a day!'
¡Qué suerte! - What luck! / ¡Qué pena! - What a shame!
