Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'ပို' (po) before a verb to say you do something 'more', and 'ထက်' (htet) to mean 'than'.
- Place 'ပို' (po) directly before the verb: ပိုစားတယ် (eat more).
- Use 'ထက်' (htet) after the person/thing you are comparing against.

Use 'A-myar-gyi' (a lot) or 'A-yar-kyaw' (by a hundred/mile) before 'Po'.
Use 'A-yin-ka-htet' (than before) at the start of the sentence.
Remember: The verb is the 'caboose' of the train, and 'Po' is the engine right in front of it.
The one you like LESS gets the 'Htet'. The one you like MORE gets the 'Ko'.
