Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Correlative conjunctions work in pairs to link two equal parts of a sentence, like 'both X and Y'.
- Use 'Ե՛վ... և՛...' (yev... yev...) for 'both... and...'. Example: Ե՛վ մայրս, և՛ հայրս գնացին: (Both my mom and dad went.)
- Use 'Ո՛չ... ո՛չ...' (voch... voch...) for 'neither... nor...'. Example: Ո՛չ ես, ո՛չ նա չգիտենք: (Neither I nor he know.)
- Ensure the two items being connected are the same grammatical type (e.g., two nouns, two verbs).

Inclusion (Both... and...)
Indicates that two things are true or present simultaneously.
