Review Summary

  • [Noun]
  • [Ini/Itu] + [Noun]
  • [Noun] + itu
  • [Ini/Itu] apa?

자주 하는 실수

Beginners often try to translate 'is' (adalah). While 'adalah' exists, it's rarely used in simple identification and sounds very formal.

Wrong: Ini adalah buku.
정답: Ini buku.

Don't use 'satu' (one) to mean 'a'. Usually, the noun alone is enough, or you use a specific counter like 'sebuah'.

Wrong: Satu buku (for 'a book')
정답: Buku or Sebuah buku

While 'Apa ini?' is understood, 'Ini apa?' is the more natural word order for asking 'What is this?' in casual conversation.

Wrong: Apa ini?
정답: Ini apa?
