Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'တော့မယ်' (taw-mal) to express an action you have decided to do or are about to start right now.
- Attach 'တော့မယ်' directly to the verb stem: 'စား' (eat) -> 'စားတော့မယ်' (I'm going to eat).
- For negative intent, use 'မ...တော့ဘူး': 'မစားတော့ဘူး' (I'm not going to eat anymore).
- Use it for immediate future or a firm decision made in the present moment.
