Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Indonesian days are simple nouns; just place them after the time word or at the start of your sentence.
- Days are nouns: Senin (Monday), Selasa (Tuesday), Rabu (Wednesday), Kamis (Thursday), Jumat (Friday), Sabtu (Saturday), Minggu (Sunday).
- Use 'hari' (day) before the name for clarity: 'Hari Senin' (Monday).
- Time markers like 'besok' (tomorrow) or 'kemarin' (yesterday) precede the day.
