Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use the -maqshy/-mekshi suffix to express your plans or intentions for the near future.

  • Add -maqshy/-mekshi to the verb stem based on vowel harmony.
  • Use 'men' (I) + verb-suffix + 'myn' to say 'I plan to...'.
  • For negatives, add the negative suffix -ma/-me before the planning suffix.
