Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Add 'ba/be/pa/pe' to the end of a sentence to turn a statement into a Yes/No question.
- Use 'ba/be' after consonants (e.g., 'Kele-si-be?' - Are you coming?).
- Use 'pa/pe' after 'm, n, ŋ' (e.g., 'Kel-em-pe?' - Am I coming?).
- Vowel harmony dictates which specific particle to choose based on the last vowel.

Seeking agreement or verification of a fact.
“Bügin demalys pa?”
