Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Uzbek, you make a noun plural by simply adding the suffix -lar to the end of the word.
- Add -lar to most nouns: kitob (book) becomes kitoblar (books).
- The suffix does not change based on the last letter of the noun.
- Do not use -lar if a number precedes the noun: besh kitob (five books).
