Willkommen in einem der wichtigsten Kapitel deiner Englisch-Reise! Hier lernst du, wie du über alles sprichst, was gerade in deinem Leben passiert. Wir schauen uns zwei echte Superkräfte an: das Present Simple und das Present Continuous. Warum brauchen wir zwei verschiedene Formen? Stell dir vor, du triffst jemanden im Café. Mit dem Present Simple erzählst du von deinen festen Gewohnheiten und Fakten, zum Beispiel: „I drink coffee every day.“ Aber was, wenn dein Handy klingelt? Dann nutzt du das Present Continuous, um zu beschreiben, was genau in diesem Augenblick passiert: „I am talking to a friend right now.“ Wir zeigen dir Schritt für Schritt, wie du die Verben richtig beugst und wann du das berühmte „-ing“ am Ende anfügst. Nach diesem Kapitel kannst du ganz entspannt über deinen Job sprechen, deine Hobbys beschreiben und anderen erklären, was du gerade Spannendes tust. Keine Sorge, das Ganze ist viel logischer, als es am Anfang vielleicht wirkt. Du wirst den Unterschied zwischen „I work“ und „I am working“ im Handumdrehen verstehen. Legen wir direkt los – dein Englisch wird ab jetzt so richtig lebendig!

Häufige Fehler

In Present Simple, third-person singular (he, she, it) requires an 's' at the end of the verb.

Wrong: He work every day.
Richtig: He works every day.

Don't forget the 'to be' verb (am, is, are) before the -ing verb.

Wrong: I eating now.
Richtig: I am eating now.

Use the -ing form for actions happening now, not the base verb.
