Learners often put the adjective after the noun like in some Romance languages. In Kazakh, for description, it must come before.

Wrong: Алма қызыл (Apple red)
Richtig: Қызыл алма (Red apple)

Do not add the plural suffix '-лер/-лар' to the adjective. Only the noun gets the plural ending.

Wrong: Үлкендер үйлер (Bigs houses)
Richtig: Үлкен үйлер (Big houses)

When a noun is in a specific case (like Accusative), the adjective does not take that case ending. Only the noun does.

Wrong: Көк кітапты (Blue-obj book)
Richtig: Көк кітапты (Blue book-obj)
