Two errors here: 'mektep' is a soft word (needs 'e') and ends in an unvoiced 'p' (needs 't').

After vowels in some dialects or specifically after certain endings, the 'n' variant is used for the Ablative. However, the most common beginner mistake is ignoring vowel harmony entirely.

Spatial postpositions in Kazakh require the preceding noun to be in the Genitive case (-diñ/-dyñ).
