Hello everybody. My name is Markiplier
and welcome to Let's Play The Lost
Souls. Now, this is actually an older
game. I think it was made back in uh
2011. Not that that's terribly old, but
considering compared to me, I'm I'm
extremely old. So, um I've heard that
it's quite scary, and I just saw
recently that it had an update, at least
in the OS version. I'm not sure. So,
let's give this a try. That is loud.
Chapter 1, the beginning. As per usual,
we will start at the beginning. Wake up.
Wake up. Now, this is made on the Unity
engine, but it's also on a website
called Congregate, which if you didn't
know, was a website that has mostly
flash games. There is no more time. Time
for what? Time to play. Time to go have
fun in my happy fun cell. The door looks
fragile. Locked.
Something is happening with the door.
I'm free. Wow, that was the easiest jail
escape I've ever had in my life. I can't
move though. It's damn dark. I should
find some light. How about this? It's
too hot to unlock the iron support.
Hello. Random strange noises playing in
the distance. I'm just going to turn the
volume back up because I turned it down
for the main menu, which was very loud,
but hopefully you guys Okay, so this
isn't lit. So, do I light it with this
one? Did I get it? Okay, I got it. Yay.
I'm on a roll today. I'm doing
fantastically. Okay, so we got a series
of things here.
Hey, no need to be doing the scream.
Seems very painful. I wonder what would
happen if I got stuck in this chair. Um,
you get tortured. Okay, so there's some
stuff.

Hello. Locked. Is it another bash down
door? Can I just push it until it opens
here? Apparently not. Okay, I'm mining
cuz this is old style, so I'm I'm
counting on there being like tons of
jump scares and random things just
popping out of me out of nowhere. I
mean, it is it is still a web horror
game. So, what have we got here? We're
looking for a key, I'm guessing. I don't
even know if I have an inventory system.
I don't see anything here. Not on the
table. Not under the table.
Still not sure what that noise is all
about, but I'll try to find Wait,
something down here. some down. Aha! Got
you. Can I crouch? No, apparently not.
There's something inside, but I can't
reach it. I can't reach that.
Shut up. I'm screaming too out of
frustration. Is there something here I
can use to get it? Now I can pick that
up. That's fantastic. Get it. Get it.
Get it. Good. Yeah, it worked just fine.
I'm holding an item already. Press space
to release an item. Oh, that's cool.
Okay, so I got the key. Something is
written, "Run and never look behind.
Who's behind me?
Oh, is that That's Run. Never look
behind. Okay.
Who's behind me?

[Laughter]
Oh, I didn't expect it to be back there.
You got to be joking me. That's not
cool. I I was just That's not fair. All
