This is the most common 'false friend'. The Bulgarian 'Р' is always a trilled or tapped 'R', never a 'P' sound.

Wrong: Reading 'Р' as the letter 'P'.
صحیح: Reading 'Р' as a rolled 'R'.

The Bulgarian 'Н' looks exactly like an English 'H', but it represents the 'N' sound as in 'No'.

Wrong: Pronouncing 'Н' as 'H'.
صحیح: Pronouncing 'Н' as 'N'.

Many beginners skip 'Ъ' or try to pronounce it as 'B'. It is a vital vowel sound in Bulgarian.

Wrong: Ignoring the letter 'Ъ'.
صحیح: Pronouncing 'Ъ' as a schwa sound (like 'u' in 'cup').

No, they are different. Bulgarian has unique letters and pronunciation rules.
Most learners can master it in a few days of practice.
It is a full vowel in Bulgarian, unlike in Russian where it is a sign.
Unfortunately, there are no marks. You must memorize the stress for each word.
It takes practice! Try saying 'butter' very fast; the 'tt' sound is close to a Bulgarian tapped 'R'.
This is due to 'final devoicing'. Voiced consonants at the end of words lose their vibration.
