Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the past conditional to talk about things that didn't happen in the past by using 'da' + pluperfect.
- Use 'da' + pluperfect in the 'if' clause: 'Da sam znao...'
- Use the conditional (biste/bi) in the main clause: '...ne bih došao.'
- The order can be flipped: 'Ne bih došao da sam znao.'
