Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Thai uses a strict Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) order, just like English, making it very intuitive for beginners.
- Place the verb directly before the object: 'I eat rice' (ฉันกินข้าว).
- No conjugation is needed for person or tense: 'I eat', 'He eats' are both 'กิน'.
- Add 'ไม่' before the verb to make it negative: 'I do not eat' (ฉันไม่กิน).
