Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Bengali, adjectives almost always come directly before the noun they describe, just like in English.
- Place the adjective before the noun: 'bhalo chele' (good boy).
- Adjectives do not change based on gender or number: 'bhalo chele' (good boy) and 'bhalo meye' (good girl).
- Multiple adjectives also precede the noun: 'boro lal phul' (big red flower).
