Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Burmese, you cannot just say 'three books'; you must use a classifier: Number + Classifier + Noun.
- Use 'Number + Classifier + Noun' for counting: 'သုံး အုပ် စာအုပ်' (3 books).
- Choose the right classifier based on the object's shape or category.
- The classifier 'ခု' (khu) is the universal default if you are unsure.

General counting
Using the default classifier 'ခု' for inanimate objects.
