Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
When using a quantifier like 'many' or 'some' with a possessive, the noun keeps its possessive suffix, not the quantifier.
- Place the quantifier before the possessed noun: 'Çox kitabım' (My many books).
- The possessive suffix attaches to the noun, not the quantifier: 'Çox kitabım' (Correct) vs 'Çoxum kitab' (Incorrect).
- If the quantifier is a specific number, the noun remains singular: 'Üç kitabım' (My three books).
