Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use -lak/-lek when you, the speaker, are doing something to 'you' (the listener).
- Use -lak for back-vowel verbs: Szeretlek (I love you).
- Use -lek for front-vowel verbs: Kérlek (I ask you).
