The subjunctive mood expresses wishes, intentions, or hypothetical actions using the suffix -айын/-ейін or -са/-се.
- Use -айын/-ейін for first-person intentions: 'Мен барайын' (Let me go).
- Use -са/-се for conditional wishes: 'Барсаңшы' (I wish you would go).
- The mood changes based on the person and the degree of desire or suggestion.
Meanings
The subjunctive mood in Kazakh is used to express personal intentions, polite suggestions, or hypothetical desires.
Intentional
Expressing a personal desire or plan to do something.

Expressing a wish for someone else to do something.
