Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use the particle 'ще' followed by the present tense of the verb to talk about the future.

  • Add 'ще' before the verb: 'Ще ям' (I will eat).
  • For negatives, use 'няма да' + present verb: 'Няма да ям' (I will not eat).
  • For questions, put 'ли' after the verb or start with 'Ще ли': 'Ще ядеш ли?' (Will you eat?).
