💡

Think Singular

Whenever you see a number, immediately think 'singular' to avoid adding -k.
⚠️

Don't translate 's'

English adds 's' for plural, but Hungarian never does this after a number.
🎯

Use the number as the plural

The number already tells us there is more than one, so the noun doesn't have to.
💬

Natural flow

Native speakers will notice if you add -k, so practice this until it feels automatic.

Smart Tips

Always stop before adding the plural suffix.

Két almák Két alma

Három házak Három ház

Pause slightly after the number to ensure you say the singular form.

Öt kutyák Öt kutya
