Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Armenian personal pronouns are the foundation of every sentence; remember that they are often omitted because the verb ending shows the subject.
- Use 'ես' (yes) for 'I'. Example: 'Ես ուսանող եմ' (I am a student).
- Use 'դու' (du) for 'you' (singular/informal). Example: 'Դու ընկեր ես' (You are a friend).
- Use 'նա' (na) for 'he/she/it'. Example: 'Նա ուսուցիչ է' (He/she is a teacher).
