The 'Elder' Rule

When in doubt, always use 'Duq'. No Armenian will be offended by too much respect, but many will be offended by too little.

Adding 'jan' to a boss's name (e.g., Mr. Sargsyan jan) can sound unprofessional or overly familiar.
