Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Burmese, time words like 'today' or 'yesterday' always go at the very beginning of the sentence.
- Place time words at the start: 'ဒီနေ့' (Today) + subject + verb.
- Use 'မနေ့က' for past events: 'မနေ့က' + I + went + to school.
- Use 'မနက်ဖြန်' for future plans: 'မနက်ဖြန်' + I + will + eat + mohinga.
