Contexto cultural

In Iran, the global economy is often discussed in relation to 'Sanctions' (تحریم‌ها). People are very aware of how international politics affects their purchasing power. In Afghanistan, the phrase is often used in the context of international aid and the rebuilding of the national infrastructure through global trade. Tajik Persian (Tajiki) uses the same concept but might use different Cyrillic spelling. The focus is often on regional trade with Russia and China. Traditional merchants (Bazaaris) might view the 'Global Economy' as a threat to local craftsmanship, leading to a cultural tension between tradition and globalization.
