Dative Case with Personal Pronouns
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The dative case shows direction or destination; add '-a' or '-ə' to personal pronouns to mean 'to me', 'to you', etc.
- Use '-a' for back vowels (a, ı, o, u): mənə (to me).
- Use '-ə' for front vowels (e, ə, i, ö, ü): sənə (to you).
- The pronoun 'o' (he/she/it) becomes 'ona' (to him/her).
