You can use 'baxmaq' with 'üçün' (for) to say you are looking for something. For instance, 'Mən iş üçün baxıram' means 'I am looking for a job'.
Watching TV or movies
When you are watching television or a movie, you use 'baxmaq'. 'Televizora baxıram' means 'I am watching TV'.
Don't confuse with 'görmək'
'Baxmaq' means to actively look or watch. 'Görmək' means to see, which is more passive. For example, 'Mən səni görürəm' (I see you), but 'Mən sənə baxıram' (I am looking at you).
