Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

To say you won't do something in Bulgarian, use 'няма да' followed by the present tense verb.

  • Use 'няма да' before the verb: Няма да отида (I won't go).
  • The verb stays in the present tense: Няма да ям (I won't eat).
  • It never changes for person or number: Няма да отидем (We won't go).
