Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'Je' (যে) to link two clauses by replacing a noun with a relative pronoun.

  • Place 'Je' immediately after the noun it modifies: 'Boy who is tall' -> 'Je cheleti lomba'.
  • Use the correlative 'Se' (সে) or 'Tini' (তিনি) in the main clause to complete the thought.
  • The verb in the 'Je' clause usually moves to the end of that specific clause.
Noun + (Je + Clause) + (Se + Main Clause)
