Dative with Pronouns: To me, to you
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Armenian, to say 'to me' or 'to you', we use the dative case pronouns which act as indirect objects.
- Use 'ինձ' (indz) for 'to me'. Example: Ինձ ասա (Tell me).
- Use 'քեզ' (kez) for 'to you' (singular/informal). Example: Քեզ տվեցի (I gave to you).
- Dative pronouns usually appear before the verb or at the start of the sentence for emphasis.
