Conditional 'Tha'
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'ถ้า' (tha) at the start of a condition to say 'if', often paired with 'ก็' (gôr) before the result.
- Place 'ถ้า' (tha) before the condition: ถ้าฝนตก (If it rains).
- Use 'ก็' (gôr) before the result verb for natural flow: ...ก็จะไม่ไป (then won't go).
- Thai doesn't change verb tenses for 'if' clauses like English does.

Add 'นะ' (na) at the end of your conditional result to soften the tone.
Use 'ถ้าผมเป็นคุณ' (If I were you) to start your sentence. It's a perfect B1 phrase.
