Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To turn a number into an ordinal, simply place the word 'ที่' (thîi) before the number.
- Use 'ที่' (thîi) before the number: 'ที่หนึ่ง' (the first).
- For numbers 2 and up, just add 'ที่' before the cardinal: 'ที่สอง' (the second).
- Use 'ที่' for ranking, floors, or dates: 'ชั้นที่สาม' (the third floor).
