Money Expressions (Manat, Qəpik)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Azerbaijani, currency units follow the number, and we use 'manat' for the whole unit and 'qəpik' for the fraction.
- Place the currency unit after the number: 'Beş manat' (5 manat).
- Use 'qəpik' for cents: 'On qəpik' (10 qəpik).
- Combine them naturally: 'Beş manat əlli qəpik' (5.50 manat).
