Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Azerbaijani, many postpositions are actually nouns that require a possessive suffix to link them to the preceding word.
- Use the genitive case on the preceding noun (e.g., 'masanın').
- Add the 3rd person singular possessive suffix '-ı/-i/-u/-ü' to the postposition (e.g., 'altında').
- The structure is always: [Possessor] + [Postposition + Suffix].
