Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'શું' (shu) at the start or middle of a sentence to ask 'what' or to turn a statement into a question.
- Place 'શું' at the start to ask 'What is this?': શું છે? (Shu che?)
- Use 'શું' to ask about objects: તમે શું ખાઓ છો? (Tame shu khao cho? - What are you eating?)
- Use 'શું' to create a Yes/No question: શું તમે આવો છો? (Shu tame aavo cho? - Are you coming?)
