- Use -ақ for 'exactly' or 'just': Бүгін-ақ (Just today).

- Use -мыс for hearsay or irony: Ол келмепті-мыс (They say he didn't come, allegedly).
Meanings
Rhetorical focus markers are suffixes or particles attached to words to shift the listener's attention, express doubt, or emphasize a specific detail.
Emphasis (The -ақ particle)
Used to limit or emphasize a specific time, place, or action.
“Дәл қазір-ақ келемін.”
“Ол-ақ біледі.”
Surprise/Rhetorical (The -ау particle)
Adds a sense of wonder, surprise, or rhetorical questioning.
