Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'muito' for 'very/much/a lot' and 'pouco' for 'little/few', but remember they change to match the noun's gender and number.

Overview

muito casas と言ってしまう。casas（女性複数）を見ても、それが女性形であるという認識が薄いまま、最も基本的なmuitoを使ってしまうのです。名詞を見たら必ず「性別は何か？」を考える習慣が必要です。- 1「数えられるものと数えられないものの区別」
