Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'noy' for identity/qualities and 'nei' for existence/possession to say 'is not' in Bengali.
- Use 'noy' (নয়) for identity: 'He is not a doctor' (সে ডাক্তার নয়).

Meanings
These particles function as the negative form of the verb 'to be' (hoya) and the existential verb (thaka).
Identity Negation
Used to negate a noun or adjective describing a subject.

Existence Negation
Used to state that something does not exist in a specific place.
